Scholarship for Indigent Children

Providing educational opportunities to children from indigent families through school admission slots and essential learning materials.

Scholarship for indigent children in Nursery and Primary schools

The Scholarship for Indigent Children programme addresses the critical need for quality education among vulnerable families in Minna. Maituwo Charity Foundation actively solicits admission slots from private schools in Minna, which are then allocated to children of indigent women, with special priority given to those whose husbands have passed away. Our key educational partners include Baiwa International School, Minna, Capital Sehoot, Minna, and Legends International School, Minna. In addition to securing school placements, the programme also facilitates the distribution of school supplies and learning materials donated by individuals, ensuring that children who are already enrolled in school have the necessary resources to succeed academically.

Key Highlights

  • School admission slots secured from partner private schools
  • Priority given to children of widows and indigent families
  • Partnerships with Baiwa International School, Capital Sehoot, and Legends International School
  • Distribution of school supplies and learning materials
  • Supporting both new admissions and existing students

Our Impact

This programme opens doors to quality education for children who might otherwise be unable to attend school. By providing both admission opportunities and essential learning materials, we ensure that financial constraints do not prevent children from accessing the education they deserve.
