Building Sustainable Support Where It's Needed Most

Widow Support

Quarterly Upkeep for Nursing Widows

A quarterly scheme for nursing widows whose babies are below two years. Each quarter, sixteen widows are selected from around Niger State and given baby needs like: dipper, baby foods, baby dresses, grains for the mother, fabrics for the mother, and beverages for the mother. This scheme took-off on 12th January, 2020.

Ramadan Support

Distribution of Items During Ramadan

This activity predates the Maituwo Charity Foundation. It first started under Madarasatul Nurul Islam, Abdullahi Sakiwa Memorial School about twenty years ago. With the inauguration of the Maituwo Charity Foundation (MCF) on 12th January, 2020, all charity activities have been fully transferred to the Board of Trustees of MCF.

Education

Scholarship for Indigent Children

Maituwo Charity Foundation solicits for slots from private schools in Minna to grant admission slots which are in turn allocated to children of indigent women, especially those whose husbands are dead. Chief sponsors include Baiwa International School, Minna, Capital Sehoot, Minna and Legends International School, Minna.
