Distribution of Items During Ramadan
An annual tradition of providing essential items to the needy during the holy month of Ramadan, continuing a legacy of compassion that spans over two decades.
The Distribution of Items During Ramadan is one of our longest-standing charitable activities, predating the formal establishment of Maituwo Charity Foundation. This compassionate tradition first began under Madarasatul Nurul Islam, Abdullahi Sakiwa Memorial School approximately twenty years ago, demonstrating a deep commitment to serving the community during the holy month. In 2014, the programme was transferred to Khadija Sakiwa Da'awah Centre, and with the inauguration of the Maituwo Charity Foundation (MCF) on 12th January, 2020, all charity activities have been fully transferred to the Board of Trustees of MCF. This transition allows both the Islamic School and the Da'awah Centre to concentrate on their intellectual activities while ensuring the charitable work continues to flourish under dedicated management.
